Influencers now have the ability to use product tags in posts and stories, making it easier to sell items directly to followers and allowing influencers to "get back to expressing themselves" #IS6621 tcrn.ch/2ZLhrbM via @techcrunch

@emmasandersisys I really hope this is a long way off...if ads do come into the mix, I wonder if they would introduce a new pricing model where users could pay more to keep their subscription ad-free #is6621

@jrmarandola @Pantene @googlechrome Such an interesting concept! I agree that seeing Pantene behind this is surprising, but I think it's a nice example of a company using their brand power to (hopefully) further a meaningful cause #is6621

@kegallagher18 @instagram I think removing like counts will be good in the long run for regular users, but will be interesting to see how this affects influencers (especially those who might be completely dependent on social as an income stream) #IS6621

@JaclinMurphy I think trying to replace short car trips in all cities is a lofty goal, and I personally would choose a bike over a scooter, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see greater adoption as the novelty wears off #IS6621

@KateU_19 @emmasandersisys I didn't realize you could get library books on Kindle - great find, and one that I am definitely going to start using! I just got a Kindle a few months ago and have loved using it, especially on vacation when I can download lots of options! #IS6621

@emmasandersisys This is actually a feature that’s been around for years, and one that I love! You can also pay $9/month for Kindle Unlinited, which lets you take out up to 10 books at a time, and is a great way to discover new authors! #IS6621

@jrmarandola So interesting - I didn’t realize these programs were widespread. I think the alternative approach can work in specific situations (which I have witnessed firsthand) but definitely cannot replace traditional teacher-led classrooms #IS6621

Should FB-backed personalized learning platforms go the way of MOOCs or is the backlash to Summit truly just “nostalgia”? I can’t imagine learning anything this way or feeling even remotely connected to school without an active teacher role #IS6621 #C nytimes.com/2019/04/21/tec…

@licarima Yes that would be awesome! If it taps into what you have available it could potentially reduce food waste which would be a bonus #IS6621

@MasonPeterman It’s a cool concept! I would definitely try it and I’m sure it would eliminate a lot of wasted time trying to decide which episode of Friends to rewatch #IS6621

Instagram was working on an internal prototype of a design change that has the potential to massively impact users' well-being. If rolled out, it might encourage more authentic content creation, rather than focusing on "likes" #IS6621 techcrunch.com/2019/04/18/ins…
