I’m Qian, Chinese, just came to SF!
a visual artist who accidentally got into FAANG and tech.
I had been living in London. One time I gave a talk on AI, and someone in the audience from SF came up to me and said:
“you should be in San Francisco for tech and creativity.”
reader, I booked the flight.
it turns out that when I landed, I immediately loved it here.
now I’m building an Agent OS called Samantha — inspired by movie Her, a soulful AI that truly understands you and acts on your behalf.
a few things about me:
– when I was walking on the street, in 5 minutes 10 people said “girl you are pretty” (SF people are so kind!)
– professionally I work on Microsoft Copilot
– my art has been shown at Tate and soon the Louvre
– I love nature, philosophy, reading, pilates, hiking, and things with beauty…
