@CalBearsHistory I was in grad school at Michigan at the time and elated by a potential Rose Bowl matchup of my two schools. Unfortunately, the student ticket deadline was the day before the final BCS standings were announced, so I was gutted by what happened to Cal (and later to U-M by Texas).

The most painful moment in my 50 years as a Cal fan. Ugh.

I expect the 2024 A's attendance to be outstanding this season! I fully anticipate that all the Vegas A's fans will fly out to Oakland to watch their home team. If they don't fly out to support their Vegas team, then they're not real fans and they don't deserve a team.
