I've been thinking about this for a while & put it up: a "simpler" mental model for daily-use #Flexbox. kgrz.io/coping-with-fl… If you fiddle with all the {align,justify}-{items,content} options in devtools & fail to understand why something's not working, may be this'll help.

@holman This is weird. I see that a polyfill is running when it probably is not supposed to(?) and I feel the synchronising is getting messed up. The module docs:

Damn. Out of my twitter break to appreciate the 🤯 talk @_kamlesh_ gave at @react_india. Razorpay’s design system and their internal integrations are just miles away from anything else I’ve seen.

Choosing to watch the livestream of @react_india as opposed to, you know, just walk the few feet to the venue coz I have to finish preparing this talk for tomorrow. 😨

@aakashd I've used Svelte Kit for an internal app (and React for our production one). It's a different mental model, especially coming from React and needs getting used to. Easy to start off with, has good affordances (built-in) for animations & transitions.

Apparently @Apple doesn’t repair watches in India. Went to the service center for getting a cracked screen repaired. They said they don’t repair watches at all, pls buy a new on. But they charged me 600 to check if it’s in warranty or not.

My new VSCode extension is nearly ready. The goal is to teach you TypeScript without leaving your IDE. That means: 1⃣ Human-readable error translations (build on top of the TS error translator) 2⃣ Hoverable hints on TS syntax to explain what it means I'm looking for testers.

You pretty much always can make it fast enough to not need it. Usually, it’s slow due to using too many HTML containers wrapping content in a list or doing too much work while rendering
