Week 2 of Vibe Coding after watching a YT video by @gregisenberg and blazing through @billyjhowell’s content, and I landed my second job on UpWork and for $1,000.

@rychieverse @gregisenberg @billyjhowell 2/2 I focus on creating apps I could easily duplicate because I know others would want it. That way it doesn’t feel like a waste.

@khadauraroshan @gregisenberg @billyjhowell How long did it take you like the entire process? And did you create the prototype first in v0, sent the loom and after it was accepted you built in replit then?

@rychieverse @gregisenberg @billyjhowell I built the prototype in Replit first (used a my custom GPT to create a PRD to give to the Replit AI Agent). Used v0 to create a better UX/UI. Uploaded that .zip to Replit. That took about 5 hours since I was new to Replit and was worth it. Sent Loom and got the job.

I'm trying to use ChatGPT for some asset generations like icons, and I must say, it sucks, bigtime! It gets a lot wrong, says that it would do something and doesn't, it even denied being wrong when I pointed out that it was wrong.

@wyndomb @gregisenberg @billyjhowell Honestly, @billyjhowell said it well when he builds a quick MVP, send a Loom telling them who you are, that you built an app, and show them. Paying more connects to get to the top helps. Most people will reply because they know you’re serious.
