@khajj I really enjoy it, getting to see a story before the world does and helping shape it? That's the job. As for transgressive elements, I'm fine with them as long as I know what I'm walking into. What kind of transgressive are we talking? (No judgment just so I know what to expect.)

@AFeranmi51972 Do you enjoy doing beta reading? The book has its transgressive elements. While it has some romantic moments, it’s not romantasy.

@khajj Sounds like you've got a real strategy mapped out. Writing forward while editing in tandem is ambitious. Keeps the momentum but can get tangled if the beta feedback shifts something big in book one. If you ever want a third pair of eyes, let me know.

@AFeranmi51972 Thank you. It’s part of a trilogy, so I think the plan is to keep writing forward into Book 2 while I have the momentum and slowly edit/polish in tandem. I currently have two beta readers. I want to try a different publishing model this time, too, with weekly chapter releases.

@khajj Epic fantasy erotica, that's a niche. World-building + intimacy + battle scenes. A lot of plates to spin. 242k words is massive. Respect for typing "THE END" on something that size. Are you planning to send it out to beta readers soon, or straight to editing?
