hey I’m khalil. british designer, engineer, philosopher, and founder. wrote poetry since childhood and became fascinated with what happens in the mind when language makes us feel something visceral.
was uninspired working in engineering at apple, informing a hiatus at art school in london, and later neuro-ai research at mit and harvard.
words led me to linguistics and etymology; then to cognitive science and comp neuro. now I am focussed on building new poetic interfaces for the mind itself, with some of the most thoughtful people I know.
