ماضی میں اس دریا کی حدود موجودہ رنگ روڈ سے لے کر آج کے دریا کے بہاؤ تک پھیلی ہوئی تھیں۔ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ رنگ روڈ اور موجودہ دریا کے درمیان جتنی بھی آبادیاں ہیں، وہ آج بھی دریا کے سیلابی میدان (فلڈ پلین) میں واقع ہیں۔ یہ ایک سنگین خطرے کی علامت ہے جسے نظرانداز نہیں کیا جا سکتا+

If the state is prioritizing building housing schemes in farmland we can prioritize re-afforestation and re-wilding as well. Imagine a forest with wildlife on the banks of the Ravi instead of a housing society. It’s all possible.

@BhuttoZulfikar Since Rivers always flow. If something is to be constructed in its natural path, water has to be diverted. It's a temporary cut that will enable a dry space for dam construction. Will be restored afterwards
P.S. your talk at Lahore Museum was amazing. I was there.
