The downside to the basic rate is that it doesn’t have as much clean electricity (20% vs 30% in standard rate or 100% if you opt up). 10.771 c/kWh hold thru 2023; we don’t know yet if rates will go up or down after.

@joshhw @kheshel It sounds like Bostonians were auto-enrolled on the Standard plan; I'm paying the rate listed on it and my supplier is IDed as (BILLING FOR CITY OF BOSTON CCE) on my bill. Still, looks like the Basic option is even cheaper. Is there a downside, beyond increases later in 2023?
