I got a couple of interesting threats last night.
Here’s what these clowns need to understand: Neither threats against myself nor my family will slow me down or derail my democracy preserving project. Not even a little.
In fact, threats just make the furnace inside of me even hotter….and more determined…and nudge me, to be even more productive.
The only thing threats will get from me, is even more of what they don’t like. A lot more.
Onward we go, harder….and grittier than ever before.
I only retreat in one direction: Forward.

Yesterday is a memory. Tomorrow is a hallucination. If you’re feeling anything negative about the past, you’re feeling bad because of a recreated mental model of the past.
If you’re feeling bad about the future, you’re feeling bad because of hallucinated images and sounds. Made up stuff.
The only place you can feel anything….is right NOW….and…..it’s always right NOW.
Make a habit of feeling things that are good for what you need to accomplish in this moment.
The future will simply be a collection of what was created in all of the moments that came before it….in that brand NEW….right NOW.

Teachers are vastly underpaid and law enforcement sometimes is viewed in a negative light, but after the attack at my school yesterday, they are both heroes to me. ‘Thank you’ doesn’t express my gratitude enough for all who responded to @CovenantKnights. Thank you @MNPDNashville!

Who knew that 2 poor, young, single Black moms raised in MKE, educated in the lowest-performing district in the state wld eventually join the ~2% of Black female MD PhDs in the US. Stats would’ve never given us this chance, but here we are and it’s not by chance at all p ≤ 0.05

2 years ago this was my car view. I often think what it would be like to have had all 3 of them there now. The chaos there would be! Joy at this happy memory has overtaken the sadness today. Our boys 💙💙 #childloss #grief

@KayeSteinsapir I went to sit down to enjoy the ceiling of the very crowded Sistine chapel. The girl next to me immediately put her large purse in between us. I waved over another member of our tour group to come and seat. The American girl with the large purse started yelling at my friend.

Overhead at soccer practice just now: girl around 10 yro says to older man who is talking with her mom, “Wait, are you Jewish?” Yes, why? “Because you have a really big nose.”
Damn. I know that family. They’ve always seemed nice. That was painful to hear come out of her mouth.
