Parking at DEN for the holidays? Our shuttle lots tend to fill up quickly. To make room for more drivers, we plan to close Pikes Peak overnight tonight & open the Longs Peak for incoming cars. Don't worry, you'll still be able to pick up your car at Pikes Peak.

@thmscwlls @ryanschuchard There is housing close to every school. But, BVSD has open enrollment (OE) and kids can go to any school in the district if there's space. Plus, the charter schools are all OE. Absolutely creates more traffic around commute times.

@ryanschuchard Not a parent, but no one has mentioned reducing trip length. I suspect this would greatly increase number of trips by bike instead of car. More housing closer to schools means shorter trip distances.
