Event Sourcing: a one year retrospective

Really enjoyed reflecting on this, at the time this felt like a bit of a gamble to our team but so far it has been an extremely useful tool.

Tundra Esports are your #TI11 Champions! 🎉 Congratulations to skiter, Nine, 33, Saksa, and Sneyking - dropping just one game during the entire Main Stage and taking the Grand Finals 3-0, they emerge victorious on their quest for the Aegis.

@asgorobets Hi there, I'm looking to get Cache Control Override updated for D10, and triage the issue queue a bit. It looks like you've been away from d.o for a while, are you interested in adding a co-maintainer before I create an inactive project issue - dpi@d.o

Dear #PHP folks, I swear I remember an RFC or some kind of proposal that allows interfaces to limit who implements them. Or something around this topic.
"I have 4 value object classes, they share the same interface, but the interface shouldn't be used by anything else" scenario

@nmdmatt @mortensonsam these patches should be posted by special “bot”-tagged accounts.
projects should be able to opt out of individual bots (ie ban user from posting in project issue queue), or opt out of all bots entirely.
the credit abuse has got to stop.
English

@nmdmatt @mortensonsam further thoughts,
it’s fine if orgs want to create automations that post these patches, but there should be almost zero credit for orgs if the tooling was created by others. think rector/ca.

@railbotforum @MelbOnTransit @aussiewongm to be fair it doesn’t matter. The Armadale line picks up the slack as all stops. Often the duo lines run better on weekends than weekdays due to excessive special capacity for Stadium services. Stations on the line will have 15 minute or better frequencies.

Good viewing if you think that your city is too spread out/ small/ suburbanised/ car-centric to ever have good transit. Bigger cities can learn too! Parts of the 'Perth model' of @Transperth PT planning are alluded to but need elaboration. Thread follows. #wapol #transperth

With less than 2 million people, Perth is not a large city, but its rail network will soon grow to over 200 kilometres, and presents numerous lessons for retrofitting high quality public transit and serving suburban areas. Enjoy! youtu.be/AH1kvXxnBiQ

I haven't done a live stream in two weeks due to vacation and #DrupalCon 😱.
Looking forward to getting back to my normal schedule: Wed @ 2PM CDT. I hack on phpstan-drupal or other #d10readiness work.
Trying to get a schedule back for Simplytest as well

@jcnventura @chx Perhaps we should be aiming for something similar as outlined by @brendt_gd in stitcher.io/blog/attribute…
English

@chx Seems like a new Drupalism to me. Why this instead of upstream Symfony's events ? The drupal.org/project/hux project page even says that this is an 'in between solution'. It's better than hooks, but not by much. Better aim at a zero-hook system in D11.
