Our first Lending Library is open! Hattie Marie Hyman-Hughes’s passion for literacy will continue through lending libraries opening at 7 Kidango centers that she funded.

Early care providers aren’t being fairly funded based on the true cost of care. Funding is essential in providing the needed resources, programs, and staff members. We ask #CALeg to acknowledge these true costs and implement the Alternative Rate Methodology in the May revision.

We’re concerned about losing $20 million in planned funding to expand care for our infants and toddlers. We urge our California legislators to make changes in the May revision in order to expand care to 1,000 infants and toddlers. @CAgovernor @GavinNewsom
