KidBlocksOS
@kidblocksOS
@openclaw + @xmtp_ powered creative OS for kids.

As KidBlocks devices Drift towards each other, @xmtp_ will still be at the forefront.

No YouTube. No TikTok. No games designed to addict them. KidBlocksOS runs on a Raspberry Pi. A child says “make me a maze game with dinosaurs” and the system generates a fully working app in seconds using AI. But here’s where it gets interesting. Kids can sell what they build to other kids. The entire marketplace is peer to peer. No servers. No accounts. Just encrypted messaging (XMTP) and USDC on Base. Kids see “coins”, parents set spend limits. Six encrypted messages, two on chain transactions, no middleman. There’s also Drift, a Bluetooth proximity system inspired by 3DS StreetPass. Two tablets get near each other and auto swap encrypted profile cards in 3 seconds. No internet needed. Going outside becomes a discovery mechanic. Three layers of content safety, age adaptive difficulty for 5 to 10 year olds, parental controls. The whole thing runs locally on a Pi.The AI skill and docs are open source MIT. Thread below on how it all works. 0x7ad1e0780ca45ed43861eeb6d0d62daba468dba3 github.com/sleepycompile/…

As we’re still in development, any fees generated from this will go toward supporting our young entrepreneurs in any way we can. Looking forward to continuing to build on @xmtp_ and getting this into the hands of beta testers along the way. More soon! 0x7ad1e0780ca45ed43861eeb6d0d62daba468dba3

The @xmtp_ team picked MLS (RFC 9420) as their encryption standard: X25519 key exchange, ChaCha20-Poly1305, Ed25519 signatures, forward secrecy. I ported their cryptographic model to Bluetooth. Same ciphersuite, same MLS protocol, different transport. Where XMTP sends encrypted messages over gRPC to nodes, Drift sends them over BLE between two devices standing three feet apart. github.com/sleepycompile/…

The core is officially stable end to end. Working on a feature like Nintendo's StreetPass, we're calling it Drift. KidBlocks devices pass each other in the wild and share profile, marketplace listings, and volume data.

using the Imagination Engine inside Giggle OS. a kid has an idea. Giggle OS turns it into a real game. the Imagination Engine is the layer that guides OpenClaw to generate kid-safe interactive apps from simple prompts. games, stories, music, art, science, tinker. this demo is one small look at the core loop behind Giggle OS: idea in creation out
