@ShaneMac @convosmessenger We need this platform to separate individual messages from group chats in the messages tab. Simply separating them would allow you to more easily go through the group messages and leave / hide any you didn't want while your regular individual dms don't get lost in a sea.

@sleepycompile @xmtp_ Should just keep them connected so you can have bluetooth nearby, stay connected when far away.

The @xmtp_ team picked MLS (RFC 9420) as their encryption standard: X25519 key exchange, ChaCha20-Poly1305, Ed25519 signatures, forward secrecy. I ported their cryptographic model to Bluetooth. Same ciphersuite, same MLS protocol, different transport. Where XMTP sends encrypted messages over gRPC to nodes, Drift sends them over BLE between two devices standing three feet apart. github.com/sleepycompile/…

As KidBlocks devices Drift towards each other, @xmtp_ will still be at the forefront.

Message me on the World app at `eddylazzarin` with what you’re doing with AgentKit. I would love to hear about it and I’ll tell you what I think Since there’s no spam, my notifications are wide open!
World@worldnetwork

As millions of agents start to come online, the internet needs to distinguish bot armies from the agents acting on behalf of humans. Introducing AgentKit, the human layer for agentic automation. Built on World ID, the AgentKit beta unlocks human-verified automation, a new primitive for the agent economy.

XMTP Switchboard just landed in Buenos Aires 🇦🇷 New location: Aleph Hub by @crecimientoar — the heart of crypto x AI in Latin America. Buenos Aires is quietly becoming one of the most important builder cities in the world. Aleph Hub will be the Switchboard hub of Latam — deep technical talent, a culture built on resilience and experimentation, and a community that actually shows up.

@ShaneMac Testing with an ai agent. Amazing! skill.md on your website is great, thank you ✌️ Wish : Uploading PDF (files in general) in a convo would be fantastic. I wasn’t able on the iOS app, maybe I’ve missed it ?

Absolutely not true. We’ve actually built a few powerful features as a good starting place to solve this and more to come. Would love feedback on these 3 features and here’s a 7 minute video demo of how it all works. 1. Lock Convos 🔒 The creator of a convo can lock the door. This burns the invite key and the QR code for the group. No human or agent can be invited. If you unlock the group, a new invite key is created so the old ones can’t get in. Convos also has Forward secrecy so no one can ever read past messages. 2. Proof of IRL 🤝 (the dummy version of proof of human) Stand next to people and have them scan your QR code and then lock the convo. Done. Proof of human, can never get phished ever. There’s no way to spam on Convos, because there’s no identifier to reach. 3. Explode 💥 This is my favorite feature. Set a time bomb 💣 on any convo. When the timer runs out, the keys rotate and the convo is gone forever. It burns the convo on every single person’s device. Only the creator of the group can set an explode timer, and no, you cannot turn it off once it starts. It’s a time bomb without a diffuse button. Here’s a 7 minute demo of the future of private communication and why we must move to an invite-only world and a per convo key not a single identity. We’ve also worked hard to make the ux magic and faster than other messengers. It’s the fastest way to start a group at a dinner with 10 people even if they don’t have the app. Pop convo, scan QR, download, no sign up. Done. ✅

I think folks on this app are greatly underestimating how much the general public hates AI. Like, haaaaaaates it.

John McPhee's Levels of the Game is even better than advertised. I just don't understand how someone writes that well. I expected it to paint the match in vivid detail (it did), but the way he weaves in all of the stories, the callbacks, the character tics, it's just so good.
