You are the LAST person who should be talking about high gas prices. Iran aside, California has already had the highest gas prices in the country thanks to high taxes ($0.72 / gal.), as well as the Cap-And-Trade program and the “special blend” of fuel refineries in the state are required to produce thanks to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger administration's Low Carbon Fuel Standard, which add another $0.54 / gal. 🔗 eia.gov/todayinenergy/… Gas prices in California average about $1.30 / gal. higher than national (I made this graphic three days ago, so prices have gone up another ten cents or so, but the point remains). If you actually cared about lowering the prices at the pump, the first thing you'd do would be to call on your state legislature to eliminate that red tape. I’m no fan of this war either, but let’s not pretend that you want to make gas affordable. You are a snake oil salesman.
