@BLKMDL3 Not a particular issue with 14.2, but we need to quit doing full stops on the more aggressive profiles. It take a forever to get it going again and on right red turns or unprotected turns it kills traffic flow. Should emulate humans here, it’s what everyone expects in traffic too

@DJSnM I would argue that you should get the tail wheel endorsement first! It’s just so much fun and helps a lot with the stick and rudder skills !

I’m already talking with my flight instructor about finishing up instrument and commercial ratings. Then I should get my tailwheel endorsement, multi engine and maybe CFI.

To be clear, I’m extremely bullish on Tesla’s self driving software, and it helps ease my commute every single day. There are some things that need to be ironed out before I would feel good about letting it drive me unsupervised though.

I use FSD for over 2 hours of travel every day around the Philadelphia area and have never experienced an issue as bad as this one. Any ideas why it chose the completely wrong lane? Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?

Algunas cosas que aprendí durante el apagón en Madrid/España: 1.Lleva siempre una batería externa cargada para tu celular. 2.Viaja con efectivo en billetes pequeños (USD/EUR de 10s o 20s). 3.Empaca una flashlight, un encendedor y una navaja de bolsillo en tu mochila. 4.Ten siempre 2 barras de chocolate o proteína en tu backpack (cuantas más calorías, mejor). 5.Envía mensajes a tu familia lo antes posible tras el apagón. Avisa dónde estás y que estás bien antes de que todos saturen la red y se agote la planta de respaldo de las antenas. Busca zonas con poca gente para mejor señal. 6.Acércate a edificios grandes para buscar señal, ya que suelen tener repetidoras celulares y planta de emergencia. 7.Apaga el WiFi y el Bluetooth si no estás conectado an internet con ellos. Consumen batería. 8.Envía solo mensajes cortos a contactos clave. Usa modo avión y desactívalo cada 3–4 minutos para buscar señal. Si no tienes suerte en 30 minutos, apaga el celular y vuelve a intentar en una o dos horas para conservar energía. 9.Llena fregaderos, ollas, vasos, etc., con agua lo antes posible. ¡El agua es prioridad #1! (Si no es potable, NO la tomes, pero úsala para higiene). 10.Si sales de tu cuarto o casa, deja notas visibles indicando a dónde vas. 11.Come en este orden: refrigerador → congelador → snacks (papas) → enlatados. Raciona al mínimo comida y agua. 12.Los autos tienen radio FM y puertos de carga. Pide ayuda a alguien para conectar tu celular y escuchar noticias. 13.Usa celulares con USB-C (más universales) y lleva un cargador de auto en tu mochila.

@DJSnM @Bose @lightspeedav I’ve had both. LS noise cancelling works noticeably better and are more comfortable for me.

Now I'm on the G7 Cirrus there's only 6 pin LEMO connectors and I really should buy a noise cancelling aviation headset. Considering either @Bose A30 or @lightspeedav Delta Zulu - anyone have experience or suggestions? Lightspeed have some extra features, but Bose headsets seem to be standard to Cirrus pilots.

CONFESSION: I didn't buy an EV because I wanted to help the environment. I bought an EV because electric motors are way better than combustion engines, and way more fun to daily drive. They are better cars in every way.

@djcows Go with concrete. Easier, cheaper and it will actually work in high temp. Steel looses strength and can deform with heat and has high thermal conductivity.
