And it could have been we will trade you our first rounder for AJ brown, and the Eagles say throw in Adams, Rams say No way!

@ProminentKingz We were so spoiled with Coop in the building. Team was never in outside headlines, damn near the quietest unselfish team media wise. Now first year without Coop, our WR1 starts spiraling.

This is where I disagree.
Not sure Rams 'dropped the ball' on this one.
Seattle just picked up JSN's 5th year option. May have anticipated SEA doing JSN's deal next offseason. Seahawks just got it done VERY quickly.

Wishful thinking. Usually takes a special agent to convince his player to take slightly less money out of trust the team can keep a contender and keep HIS stock up in the process with wins.
Meanwhile, said agent supplements the "loss" with ads, which Puka might be all over.

@kikosanchez @SleeperRams No. In 2017-18 JG had 2 great qb coaches, Greg Olson then Zac Taylor. 2019, McV became de facto qb coach. They weren't in sync & McV made his gripes public. Goff went to DET where Ben Johnson restored his confidence. That worked, as we know. McV himself regrets how he was w/ Goff

In another universe Goff wins the Superbowl and the Matthew Stafford x Goff trade never happens.. But my question is would you guys rather we had won this Superbowl and be stuck with Goff, or are you happy with how it panned out because Stafford is just so much more talented? 🤔

@znramsfan @SleeperRams McVay came in and helped turn Goff into a good QB, they had a great relationship, until McVay was wise enough to see Goff didn't have the clutch gene that Stafford has.

@SleeperRams Goff is a good qb (better than Darnold for example) but McV had a bad relationship w/ him so getting Stafford, who is a great qb, ended that problem. If there were no trade, though, along w/ Goff the Rams would have had 2 1sts & a 3rd to play with.

@AllenSales I agree he has been in system and has probably learned a lot from Stafford, we don't see him in action much so theres that concern, but if the powers that be, who see him everyday, make him the backup. I'm cool with it.

I mean why not? He’s been in the system for 4 years now and has improved every year since being drafted. Who else would you rather have to back up if Jimmy G is gone?? Bennett has earned the opportunity to compete for that back up spot and even the starting position after Stafford retires.

Withdrawn but not forgotten in today’s NFL you can pick up a ball after a play is whistled incomplete, turn around with it and walk back towards midfield and four minutes later have it count for two points 🤔🤷♂️
