Insulting the U.S. men’s hockey team for accepting President Trump’s invitation to the White House and his State of the Union address is a new low for The Globe and Mail. Comparing our gold medalists to zoo animals, questioning their literacy, mocking their education... that’s quite a take. In Michigan we call that sour grapes. These young men won fair and square and deserve to celebrate. And they can read just fine, including the scoreboard.

I always laugh at yo-yo’s who don’t have the 1st clue what information the President had that forced this decision. First, kudos to James Duthie for asking Gretzky about this. It was beyond appropriate. Duthie is always a pro. Gretzky is pals with people in an admin that changed the relationship with its greatest ally. Fair Q.
Second, the question could not be more user-friendly. This wasn't exactly a presser in Philly or NYC.

NEW: Canadian curling star Marc Kennedy claims he was set up by "premeditated" cameras to catch him "in an act" of cheating. The Canadian curling team is now claiming to be victims after they were caught on camera 'double-touching' the stone. "They have come up with a plan here at the Olympics, as far as I know, to catch teams in the act at the hog line," Kennedy said. "This was planned... it was kind of evident that something was going on, and they were trying to catch us in an act." Kennedy and Coach Paul Webster accused Sweden of setting up cameras to catch them cheating. "I know we’re not the only team that they’ve done that to. So I think this was, I don’t know what the word is for that, but like a premeditated plan to try to catch us," Kennedy said. Sweden is firing back at Canada, saying they've been sounding the alarm on alleged Canadian cheating for seven or eight years. "We've been saying this for maybe seven, eight years or something.
