It appears that a lot of brokers have quit posting their loads on the load board this week. Most others have been immediately pulling down their posts after hours and reposting the next day as if there new. Meanwhile, brokers are privately blowing up my email. I have noticed that it’s always the same load that is reposted the next day. After 3-4 days, the rate increases dramatically above top of spot and subsequently disappears. I know that we haven’t accepted any loads that weren’t 10% or more over current spot according to (DAT info). I’ve also noticed that DATs 7 day is running behind. Current rates for the past few weeks. Interesting trend. Not sure what to make of it, but it makes your post sound reasonable. By the way, we downloaded Blue on Blue. This is my second day playing around with it and it seems to be a more accurate estimate of current spot rates. I’m to the point that I feel like I can trust it as much as the other big board guys.
