The Kano-Kaduna rail line for $1.2 billion or ₦2 trillion. The Kano light rail project, for which the Tinubu administration has already allocated ₦150 billion. The 465-kilometre Trans-Saharan Road being constructed at a price of an estimated $750 million or ₦1.2 trillion. Approval of ₦334 billion for the Kano–Kongolom Road project in Kano State. The ongoing massive reconstruction of the Kano–Maiduguri Road. Approval and disbursement of ₦47 billion for the completion of the long-abandoned Jakara–Wuju–Wuju road and sewage project in Kano. Introduction of the Kano-Lagos narrow rail express service for cargo and agricultural produce to boost exports. These are just a few of the projects that the President has targeted in Kano to show his love and affection for the Kanawa people. Of course, continuity at the federal and state levels in Kano will augur well for the continuation of the intense development strides underway in the state.
