In Sunset Park, Brooklyn. At around a.m. on the corner of 9th Avenue and 58th Street, a 31-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint. The armed suspect demanded cash. When the victim hesitated and tried to pull his money back instead of handing it over, the gunman fired a warning shot near his head. Then, he shot the victim multiple times in the left leg and torso. The victim collapsed on the sidewalk. He was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. The suspect fled east on 58th Street toward Ninth Avenue and is still at large.
