Daily dev status updates hit so hard when you're building something no one else in third-person multiplayer videogames has. 👀 [ DONE ] ✅ Added setup for destruction in loft map and now we will start the fragmentation part for that. ✅ Fixed smoke position so that it doesnt look hanging in the air. ✅ Did some research on Finals and Battlefield destruction and realized that the main thing which makes Finals destruction different and better is that its based on actual physics and support load rule and based on that the player can realisticly destroy support and buildings fall realisticly, i am also changing our core destruction functionality such that it also allows load/support and physics based collapse and destruction, it will be very robust system and please note that it will take me a further two days to implement different algorithms and testing to support that functionality. [ IN PROGRESS ] 🛠️ Adding volume in smoke area when player is close. 🛠️ Fixing a bug where smoke disappears suddenly. 🛠️ Hiding and deleting smoke vfx based on time and surrounding destruction. 🛠️ Recording video of destruction process to let other devs help in the process. 🛠️ More enhancement of destruction visuals via vfx. 🛠️ Working on adding more vfx.
