More details have surfaced surrounding Chuckyy's recent arrest in Chicago. According to a proffer provided to XXL by the Cook County Attorney's Office on Thursday (June 25), Chuckyy, born Charles Davis, was observed on one of the police's live surveillance cameras placing a firearm in a black BMW on Monday (June 22). When police arrived on the scene, Chuckyy got in the back seat of the car and reportedly refused officers' orders to exit the vehicle. As a result, police busted out one of the car's windows and removed the rapper, who they say refused to let go of a blue pouch that contained $60,000 in cash. After Chuckyy was placed in custody, police discovered a loaded Glock 26 9mm semiautomatic pistol with a laser point attachment under the front passenger seat. Police also discovered that the 20-year-old rapper doesn't have a valid Firearm Owner's Identification (FOID) card or a Concealed Carry License (CCL) to legally carry a gun in Illinois. Chucky was booked into the Cook County Jail, though his exact charges were not disclosed. His next court date is June 29. XXL has reached out to Chuckyy's rep and the Cook County Sheriff's Office for comment.
