Rudy Giuliani remains one of the very few people who have seen any consequences for the 1/6 insurrection. Meanwhile, the one that orchestrated it just had their election certified. Cool country. No notes.

Six @Delta flights in nine days. Here’s what I can tell you: Seats are uncomfortable. Online/phone customer service is miserable. Planes are old. But the in-person customer service? The people on the ground? Every single person (minus one) has been genuinely exceptional.

Been talking on the phone/text/in person with @Delta customer service off and on for two days, and I don’t know why it’s so difficult to get my problem fixed but I don’t think their chat bot helps…

To everyone who is afraid of what happens next, I share your fears. But what we do next is important. We have to learn from what happened. And then, make a plan. As we confront a second Trump presidency, here’s a path forward: 🧵

Swalwell: If a young woman in Florida, where a six-week ban is now law, can get up today and find her way through, we can too. And if a soldier in a trench in eastern Ukraine, who just saw their best ally walk away, can keep fighting, we can too. And if a high school student, who’s going to school today in a country that arms mass shooters to the teeth, can get through it, we can too. It doesn’t feel good to lose—it sucks. I hate it, and I hate what this winner says about our country and the people who make it great, but we have work to do. We’ve dealt with this guy before; he’s a one-term president coming in and in serious cognitive decline. We’re not helpless—we’re privileged to be among those who can do something.
