And that's just a Tuesday... But there ain't no machine tho...

Love how Cole just walked into studio unannounced to squash everything face to face. No lawyers needed after all. Sometimes it’s as simple as talking it out face to face. The internet, the media, everything nowadays can spiral beefs. Real human interactions are still invaluable in today’s world.

I honestly think you can tell J. Cole fell back in love with hip-hop on this album from the range of classic samples, to the energy he had on each track.
It’s beautiful man, it’s his best album for a reason.

What I didn’t like about some of J. Cole’s answers is that he kept saying there was a strategic campaign against Drake but failed to mention there was a campaign against Kendrick—and that Drake started it with Kendrick.
He also failed to acknowledge that Drake initiated this, involved families, and took personal jabs at people’s family members first. He didn’t say that Drake has some accountability, in my opinion.
It seems like he’s more sympathetic to Drake than to what Kendrick had to endure quietly, and then had to endure you and Drake teaming up against him without even talking to Kendrick first—in my opinion—instead of just listening to Drake.
I don’t have a problem with him choosing peace later on, or deciding not to get involved and separating himself. That’s his prerogative. He has to look at himself in the mirror every day; that’s between him and himself. I just have an issue with those particular things.
