There are no taxi services in the traditional form, just local drivers who are pretty expensive for Thailand (and the price is per person, our transfer from the pier to the bungalow was 400 Baht/2 people). Rent a scooter or a car if you want to explore, or stay in a central area close to the beach if you want to chill. Food There are plenty of good dining options, but I’d say even compared to Chiang Mai, my previous destination, it’s more expensive and not as great. Our lunch just now was around $20 for 2 people, really cheap for Europe but a bit more expensive for Thailand. Good thing they have a local delivery app where you can order pretty much anything: Delivery KPG (App Store, Google Play) 👌🏻 Dogs Just a note: a lot of stray dogs 🐕 on the island, but none of them seem aggressive, they’re even friendly. Don’t forget to pack sunscreen (you’ll need it in the off-season too) and mosquito spray! Enjoy your trip 🫶
