@visse_ss In a working country, this lady and the other guy will rot in prison. Advocacy, human rights a in d implementation are different. You are not police or immigration.

"We cannot carry the burden of every single failed African president." – Jacinta Ngobese. She is calm. She is logical. And she is right. "The community is not wrong for demanding that the law be implemented." "If genuine asylum seekers need help, the government must provide refugee camps ..; not dump them in our communities." "We have never advocated for violence. All we've ever said is: enforce the laws." "African leaders must sit down and be honest, instead of going on red carpets while their citizens suffer." "A passport must mean something. Coming here illegally and getting jobs? That is not acceptable." She is not saying close the borders to everyone. She is saying: enforce the law. Prioritise South Africans. Hold other governments accountable.

They call foreigners amakwerekwere. They call queer people izitabane. The list of derogatory terms for South African women is endless. They have a term for everyone they see as lesser than, and they will be coming for all of us at some point.

We are unemployed graduates. We don’t qualify for the R370 SRD grant because we are NSFAS-registered students. We can’t access marking jobs because we are not current students and lack the required 3 years of teaching experience. Many of us are now over 35 and no longer qualify for most internships or youth programmes. Yet we still have to pay R190 for a police clearance certificate plus SACE membership fees just to stay eligible for teaching positions. On top of that, some of us have to hide our qualifications when applying for retail or cleaning jobs to even stand a chance. And despite all of this, some of you continue to vote for and believe in the ANC??

This one brings trauma to think this department used Youth to gain the state funds to their pockets 🤮 @MYANC and @Our_DA . Than you act like everything it’s normal after dumping those graduates to the private sector.

They've got until Friday midnight to sign with the private company or risk being excluded from the digitisation project. Urgent help is needed Leadership @ThapeloMogale_
TheeGreat Kwedini 🇿🇦@Mara_Mbokodi

DA Minister of Home Affairs @Leon_Schreib is exploiting DHA digitisation staff, who have been receiving a stipend of R5000 for more than 3 years in the government department with no benefits (UIF, medical aid, etc). Instead of employing them permanently after more than 3 years of service, they are being outsourced to a private company (Phetogo) on a 3-month contract with the same conditions. The digitisation staff are young graduates with diplomas, degrees and honours, but they are not taken seriously. Last week on 18 March 2026, they marched to the head office of Home Affairs and the Unions building to submit a memorandum. They were told they would receive feedback within 7 days, only to be instructed to stay home and forced to sign the contract with the private company under the same conditions. According to the labour acts and the constitution, they are more than qualified to be employed permanently. The DA government is giving their friends tenders. The digitisation employees do not want to be outsourced after working so hard under the government department. Away with outsourcing!
