King Bliss is for the children. I recently did an interview with @TUVAlex of The Underground Vault; an underground Hip-Hop Monthly Weekly. Discussed Toronto's emerging underground Hip-Hop landscape and my origin as a emcee.

You may have seen King Bliss’ name in the scene as of late. In 2020, the Jamaican-Canadian released Yasuke, entirely produced by DJ Finn of Gold Era. The album, ushered King Bliss into a movement within the modern underground landscape, pairing Bliss with cats like Daniel Son, Asun Eastwood, Lord Juco, Raz Fresco and the like. As Toronto’s scene has continued to climb, more and more ears have been tuned into what King Bliss is doing on the mic. This year, he’s ramping up to release a series of singles in preparation for his long-awaited follow up album which is sure to excite. Last month, with the help and thanks to The Abyss Podcast, I had the chance to speak to King Bliss on record to capture his story. I’ve spent quite a bit of behind-the-scenes work in the past 24-months gathering oral histories within the modern Toronto rap scene and this was a missing piece to the puzzle that I was glad to have the opportunity to remedy.
