Ivey recently announced that he was alive in Christ. "They proclaim Pride Month in the NBA. They show it to the world. They say, 'Come join us for Pride Month to celebrate unrighteousness.'" Flight delayed on tarmac. Missed our connection. Based on the other flights available, which were also delayed, and the fact that taking a flight tomorrow would require getting back into a security line stretching seemingly for miles, we decided to get a car and drive five hours to our destination. That’s how bad air travel is right now. Driving is faster. Air travel is awful in this country. People don’t realize just how much it sucks unless they have to do it a lot. It’s not just TSA. Flight delays. Air traffic control issues. Service is even worse than usual. Every airport is crowded and slow and worn down and dirty. Everyone brings their dogs. The term “service animal” doesn’t mean anything anymore. Air travel used to be luxurious. People used to wear suits. Working for an airline was prestigious. The employees took it seriously. It sucks now. It’s terrible. This is the kind of thing our leaders should be fixing. Because the most frustrating thing is that it is so eminently fixable. If only anyone bothered to try.

My statement re Prohibiting the Latin Patriarch of entering Church of Holy Sepulcher on Palm Sunday: While all Holy sites in the Old City are closed due to safety concerns for mass gatherings including the Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulcher and Al Aqsa Mosque, the action today by the Israel Nat'l Police to deny Latin Patriarch Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa and 3 other priests from entering the Church to offer a blessing on Palm Sunday is an unfortunate overreach already having major repercussions around the world.  Home Front Command Guidelines restrict any gatherings to 50 people or less.  The 4 representatives of the Catholic Church were well below that restriction.  Statements from the Gov't of Israel indicate the action to prohibit Cardinal Pizzaballa entry to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher were for safety reasons, but churches, synagogues, and mosques throughout Jerusalem have met with the restrictions of 50 or less.  For the Patriarch to be barred from entry to the Church on Palm Sunday for a private ceremony is difficult to understand or justify. Israel has indicated it will work with the Patriarch to accommodate a safe means of carrying out Holy Week activities.

Our government is complicit in what, four ethnic massacres in Syria in just a year? Yet they will use CENTCOM, which has famously misrepresented the ISIS fight for much of it, to tell you we are effectively fighting terrorism alongside the new Syrian regime. Anyone parroting that is operating at their own level of stupidity. At some point, words matter and accountability has to follow. It is time to remove Tom Barrack, a man who was charged as an unregistered agent for a foreign country and on top of that exchanged thousands of messages with Jeffrey Epstein even AFTER his sentencing. We are being led in critical places by people who do not share or defend American ideals or interests. We are not a pro-Islamist country, I don’t care how rich some of these fools think they can get off being so. Corruption does not correct itself. It persists and it spreads. Christians and other minorities are being massacred in their homes, so our politicians can siphon funds off projects in Syria after removing sanctions and opening up access to billions in funding. It is entirely reasonable to demand better leadership, especially when the President is clearly not getting real ground truth reporting because of appointed scumbags surrounding him like Barrack.

Churches in Syria cancelled Palm Sunday celebrations because of the ongoing attacks on Christian areas and neighborhoods. This hasn’t happened in over 100 years except under the terrorist Abu Mohammad al-Julani, whose hands Friedrich Merz will shake on Monday.
