I mean, I guess the market you’re betting matters but breaking things down to a plate appearance probability makes a lot more sense. As in, what are the odds of this plate appearance resulting in a strikeout or a home run, etc. Then extrapolating that to how many PAs the hitter will get against the SP. How do you use the teams “K per game”? Assuming that’s including versus relievers who almost always have high K rates.
