@sambbury That sounds pretty weird.
A well placed style shift can emphasize a scene just as much as an animation bump, and the original comic itself had serious style shifts too with Ottley and Walker
If anything, the show would have really benefitted from leaning into that, i think.

Like my previous teammate in the op said, doing one sequence that looks as advanced as the edits isn't viable unless the *whole show* can look like that, otherwise it's stylistically too different. It ends up being a lesser evil situation

Hi, I was one of the four people.
Of course we all wanted the show to look as polished as possible. There just wasn't enough time or manpower. Best I could do is add some lighting/shadow work to 1-2 sequences per episode since they're 40-55 minutes.
We did our best 🫰

@CorbyVo The show constantly brings cool moments and great setups to the table, only to forget/fumble them up harder than concrete almost immediately, which results in all of our brain remains actively haemorrhaging from the quality whiplash, but not enough to kill us.

The harsh truth is this person is correct. Yeah you may label yourself an artist but dont make people put in the extra effort to find where your work is at! Remember, you're marketing yourself out there, and having a media tab full of everything but rarely your own art is bad 👎
