Career Update: I’ve joined the Developer Relations team at @Qualcomm! Throughout January, all I heard was people harping on how 2026 is going to be the year of local models; but here’s what I kept coming back to: How local can we actually get? Inside your pocket local? On your wrist local? Real time, always on, no-cloud yada yada local? These questions are a big part of what drove me here. Over the past few years, I’ve been exploring the intersections of cloud and infra, IoT, even VUI, all with a sprinkle of AI; while staying close to the builder ecosystem through hackathons and developer communities. And now, it feels like everything is converging into a much bigger shift. At Qualcomm, the future is already unfolding across mobile, AI PCs, XR, robotics, automotive, and edge, all powered by the @Snapdragon and Dragonwing ecosystems. I’m especially excited to help more people build AI apps directly on mobile devices and experiment with edge-first AI systems, powered by my beloved @arduino and @EdgeImpulse. If you’re curious about local models, on-device AI, or building intelligent apps that don’t rely on the cloud, we’re going to have a lot to explore together! Let’s see how local we can really get!
