🇺🇸🇮🇷 Months of fighting with Iran have reportedly drained U.S. stockpiles of Patriot and THAAD interceptors, along with long-range precision weapons, to the point where officials no longer believe America could comfortably sustain a much larger war.
A U.S. official said depleted missile inventories and battle damage are now becoming a real constraint on military planning.
At the same time, Washington is rushing more F-16s, F-35s and aerial refueling tankers into the region while quietly pursuing diplomacy, a sign that the Pentagon wants to avoid opening another major front before its arsenals recover.
This is exactly the kind of problem military planners have warned about for years: modern wars burn through precision weapons far faster than defense industries can replace them.

• A user created multiple accounts using false identities and repeatedly attempted to bypass Grok’s safeguards.
• He uploaded photos of adults and minors and tried to turn them into CSAM.
• SpaceXAI says its detection and reporting helped lead to his arrest. He now faces eight felony child-exploitation charges in South Carolina.
• SpaceXAI has suspended 52,222 accounts and submitted 73,604 reports to NCMEC in 2026, contributing to at least 244 arrests.

“My @Tesla buying experience was nothing like anything I’ve ever experienced before. Normally, when you buy a car, you go to a dealership, test drive the vehicle, haggle with the salesperson, and then deal with the finance team—which is usually way worse than the sales staff. I still remember one car I bought years ago that took a full six hours. It was miserable. “This time, I wasn’t even sure I was going to buy a Tesla. I just wanted to test drive one—I’d never even ridden in one before. I hadn’t looked at the Model Y much, though I saw them on the road all the time. Like a lot of gas-car drivers, I used to think EVs were kind of stupid. But over the years, Tesla’s infrastructure has improved so much that I decided it was worth checking out. “My current car was a 2020 Volvo that was starting to show its age. Even though I had promised my husband I’d keep it forever, maintenance was getting ridiculous. The 50,000-mile service alone cost around $800. So I booked a test drive appointment for 1:00 p.m. “At the center, a Tesla advisor drove me first to show me how Autopilot worked, then handed me the keys. I only drove for about 10 minutes, came back, and spent some time exploring all the car’s features. After that, I was sold. I wanted it. “Before going in, I had already checked Tesla’s trade-in offer on my Volvo and it was significantly better than what Carvana was quoting. The numbers made sense. All I had to do was fill out the finance application. The rate was an incredible 0.99%, and if I kept the loan the entire term, the total finance charges would only be about $800. That was a no-brainer. “I arrived at 1:00 p.m. and drove home in my new Tesla around 5:00 p.m. Most of that time wasn’t even at the Tesla center—I had to run home to eat, find my title, clean out my old car, talk to my husband, and head back. If I had done all that in advance and had the car cleared out with the title in hand, I probably would have been in and out in about an hour. “They also happened to have the exact model, color, and configuration I would have ordered on the spot. I didn’t have to wait for a custom build. “Super long rant, but that’s my Tesla car buying story!”

At least 44 times, he bought into a company, then days later posted something glowing about it.
Take Nvidia. He hyped its "very big and exciting news" and promised fast-tracked permits, and somehow forgot to mention the up to half a million in Nvidia stock he'd grabbed days earlier.
The White House swears he has zero control, it's all outside money managers. Only he never set up the blind trust every president's used for 50 years, so he can see exactly what he owns.
And he's all for banning stock trading, for Congress. Not for himself. When one senator tried to include presidents, Trump wrote him off as a "second-tier Senator."
Even a libertarian fellow from his own first term called the whole thing "an ethics disaster."
Maybe it's all clean, maybe it's just timing. But with no blind trust, we're basically taking his word for it.

When the IDF arrived, he says the soldiers blockaded them in further and watched more settler cars gather.
What freed them was the US embassy working the phones.
Israel disputes his account; he says the released video contradicts the denial.
The aftermath stung him more than the incident.

The nearest precedent anyone could find for an American congressman detained abroad by armed civilians was Leo Ryan, 1978, Jonestown.
