@JamieSinai@British_Airways Absolutely nothing! I called again and spoke to someone on Monday who said my account would be unlocked within 24-48 hours and that deadline has passed. Looking on here and Facebook there are hundreds of cases. I think my next step will be contacting the media!
@kitto78@British_Airways Hi Helen, have you made any progress with this? I had the same thing happen to me last week & I am still waiting for @British_Airways to respond. Really can’t believe that they don’t have proper systems & communication in place to deal with such fraud.
@British_Airways I need urgent help. My Executive Club account was hacked, my email address was fraudulently changed, and all my Avios were stolen. Despite reporting this immediately and being told I would receive a response in 24-48 hours. No updates and can’t use account
@British_Airways As I thought no help just a ‘we are waiting for response from exec club’- you may respond on here it doesn’t actually help the situation. I had been planning a trip of a lifetime to book and travel this month. Account locked, so can’t go and no explanation as to how it happened
