@Sirens_Scales @superfinedoom Yeah and it's not like you shouldn't enjoy the likes and compliments it's actually the opposite because when you write for the joy of it you don't expect and when even 5 people like it you're so happy, and for some reason we write better this way in the first place

@fandompotato120 “Write for yourself” is the least helpful advice ever. Maybe some people do, but I write to connect. I care abt the quality of my work and how it affects the reader. I DO write for others, and I don’t think that’s a moral failing.
