Pillows under upper limbs to take the weight off is a cheap win, too.

Seeing people who should know better telling worried parents & students to demand an NHS men b vaccine (with a side order of blame for ‘missing it’). Men b is not available for teens/adults on the NHS. Poor GPs that have to deal with the results of misinformation.

@VPointon When I applied to uni to study physio the nhs retirement age was 55 and I thought I could probably physically manage the job until then, so it felt like an ok choice to make. I am starting to struggle due to pain in my joints (at 48) and can’t imagine having to work past 55.

Absolutely pointless. I’m 74 now and no way am I fit enough to do a full-time job. All this will do is increase the sickness benefit budget. When you’re young, you think you can go on forever. When you’re old, you realise your body begins to wear out and your time is finite.

Plenty of Labour MPs shrieking on and on about how their jury reforms are for “victims”. But what about the accused? Have they forgotten that innocent people are tried as well as guilty ones? The whole point of our system is justice, not vengeance.

This one is trying to convince you that removing juries will 'end the backlog.' It won't. Because trials will still take place, the same number of trials, in the same courts. He knows this. So ask yourself, why does he want to remove your right to judgement by your peers?

Don’t Do This to Iranians. U.S. Defense Secretary @PeteHegseth says: “It turns out the regime that chanted ‘Death to America’ and ‘Death to Israel’ received death from America and Israel.” But somehow the BBC translated it as “the people.” The people? And honestly, anyone who knows even the basics about Iran understands the massive difference between the Iranian regime and the Iranian people. The regime is the same one that massacred more than 30,000 Iranians. The people? Those are the same Iranians who danced in the streets chanting “Death to Ali Khamenei” , the sam who celebrated the killers of their loved ones. Because to them, the death of their oppressors isn’t tragedy, it’s justice. Just like when Osama bin Laden was killed. Families of 9/11 victims called it justice. And let’s be honest about the double standard. When Barack Obama killed bin Laden, the same people applauded. But when Donald Trump removes the man responsible for decades of terror and massacre in Iran, suddenly it’s a moral crisis. If justice was acceptable yesterday, then why suddenly immoral today? maybe the problem isn’t the violence, it’s your politics. And don’t erase the difference between a regime and the people it oppresses. Don’t do this to the people of Iran. The people did not choose this war., The regime did through decades of aggression, terrorism, and repression at home and across the Middle East. The world must never confuse the people of Iran with the regime that holds them hostage.💔

@mancunianmedic I used to be a surgical physio and was always amused when patients who had required multiple surgeries, a long stay on ITU, were 3L positive, on TPN and had a Vac dressing would come to the ward and the surgeon would write in the notes: for INTENSIVE physio 🙄
