People saying the coalition should have created a new party like the then APC are not being sincere. APC made moves to stop any new party from getting registered by INEC and that made coalition to adopt ADC. The unpopular Tinubu doesn't want anyone to contest against him in 2027.

Closing Nigeria’s democratic space is no “master strategy.” While Bola Tinubu and his supporters may celebrate his ability to suppress and sow discord within other parties, and it may appear that he is “winning,” Nigeria is losing. When democratic space is restricted, people are driven underground. One would hope that his so called “master strategy” would instead have a positive impact on the lives of millions of Nigerians facing insecurity, economic hardship, and other pressing challenges.

I think the past northern president believes in faith thats why during their time they don’t misuse power during elections and they allow the institutions to work independently but apparently the SW are happy with what Tinubu is doing and even going ahead to call injustice as strategy. Islamic clerics rightfully raised alarms on the chairman of INEC and how his bias will clearly affect his impartial job. This is a clear example of that scenario. With what our courts have beendisplaying, they are not places where justice is dispensed. They are bought!
