I read a book called Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomsky.
This is EXACTLY what the media is doing right now, and desperately trying to remove Poilievre.
Chomsky argued that the media "are effective and powerful ideological institutions that carry out a system-supportive propaganda function, by reliance on market forces, internalized assumptions, and self-censorship, and without overt coercion".
The difference today is that the reliance is not on market forces.
ITS RELIANCE IS ON THE GOVERNMENT THAT SUBSIDIZES THEIR EXISTENCE.
The idea that Pierre should step down,
is an idea manufactured by THEM.
Not by Conservatives.
The hypocrisy is this: the same people that want Pierre removed, are the same people
that praise his ideas, when Carney steals them, and waters them down…to the point of ineffectiveness.
This is what is happening in Canada right now: the Manufacturing of Consent.

Trump is delivering historic domestic wins:
- Border closed
- Deportations and self-deportations surging
- Record levels of oil and gas production
- DEI is dead
- Universities forced to follow the law
- No men in women's sports
"If you sit out or you oppose Trump, de facto — whether you know it or not — you are favoring the alternate agenda."
These victories would never have happened under a Democrat or RINO president.
We should keep pushing to end this conflict and stay laser-focused on America First priorities.
But we should not give up or help the Democrats regain power by turning on Trump.

Tristin always does a good job of cutting through dumb political rhetoric.
Absolutely, saying that Mark Carney “knows” the business world sounds about right to most people who don’t take a second to think about what that actually means.
But running a country has nothing to do with business networking. Right now, Canada is a bad investment under the terrible management of the Liberals.
Carney knowing people is not going to change the risk-reward analysis of his peers or friends deciding to invest in Canada or not.
This reminds me of Carney’s other silly claim at the 2025 Liberal leadership debates.
He would just sort of dumbly say that he would “negotiate” or “use diplomacy”with Donald Trump to get the tariffs removed.
The way he said it reminded me of a not very creative person playing Dungeons & Dragons and just saying that they “haggle” or “use Charisma” and not actually explaining what they’re doing, but just most generic implication of an idea to move the story forward.
Like Mark Carney was going to go into the oval office and just declare that he is going to “diplomacy” Donald Trump like it was some secret combo fighting move.
Turns out that the guy who talked like that in the debate isn’t very good at getting a trade deal signed.

I heard the argument today that Carney's going to bring investment back to Canada because he "knows" the business world. If your country is an attractive place to invest, the rolodex of your PM doesn't really matter. But if your goal is opaque cronyism, it's *all* that matters.
