Random question I was just asked and didn't have the answer to. Do any wineries have their own plots of forest for oak production? I know of wineries that have their own cooperages, but I haven't heard of any with a stake in, or their own, forest.

@DarekGalasinski The two famous producers will always be priced super-high, and it's the law of diminishing returns. They are amazing, but other producers perform at a high level w/o the price premium. The place to drink them is in region, as you did

2014. At a silly (low) price in a restaurant in Chablis. polish Vivino has at 7 times higher, I like the wine a lot. Is it miles snd miles better than less celebrated producers’ wines? Imo no.

@klitomaz Well, I don’t like Miles Davis as a person, I think that Kind of Blue is divine. We would reject much art if we focused on the artist. For me the question is also: how long are we going to remember it? Will Fulvio forever be branded? We all occasionally say stupid things.

You can’t not appreciate how wonderful this wine is. Everything is in place. Beautiful (though I’d prefer a bit more fruitiness).
