Mes collègues savent que j'ai une grosse capacité à économiser. J'ai toujours été clair sur le fait que j'économisais pour m'acheter une belle maison ou un bel appartement pour ma future famille et qu'on ait pas de prêt à rembourser.

Ça fait un mois que j’ai commencé un (long) process de recrutement avec une entreprise, je suis arrivé à la toute fin (rencontre fit équipe). La RH m’appelle ce matin et m’annonce un refus. La raison : tu es introverti.

This word is the only reason I kinda understand when black Americans talk about Africans not understanding their struggle. Cause if you call me the N word, it really does nothing to me. Like sure I know it’s a bad word & you shouldn’t say it, but it evokes zero emotion from me cause I have no trauma, memory or feelings attached to the word. Might as well call me an idiot.

She reported it. The case was stalled for over a decade. She kept reporting. Was kidnapped again in 2003. Held for five days. Released. Kept reporting. In 2011 she took Colombia to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. On October 18 2021 the court ruled. The Colombian state was responsible. The first time in history a government had been found responsible for using violence to silence a woman journalist.
She launched #NoEsHoraDeCallar - It's Not Time to Stay Silent. Hundreds of thousands of women across Latin America told their stories because she told hers first. The ruling became a legal weapon for women journalists across the continent. The UN named her global ambassador against s3xual violence in conflict. Her name is Jineth Bedoya Lima.
