On3 scouting report: THE SCOUTING REPORT Lukas Prock is a talented quarterback prospect with very good size, athleticism and accuracy. Standing at 6-foot-3, he has the size to deliver throws with a strong amount of velocity, especially as he adds to his 180 pound frame. He has clean mechanics while maintaining a strong and active base, allowing for him to throw with ease and push the ball downfield with velocity to hit his targets. He already operates in an offensive scheme that challenges him to fit passes into tight windows over the middle of the field, which should help ease the transition to the college game at a tough position. Despite the added pressure of having to read defenses at the high school level, he was very accurate, completing 72% of his passes for over 4,000 yards facing some of the best competition in the country during his junior season. Additionally, he is an excellent athlete for the position and poses a legitimate threat as a runner, forcing defenses to stay honest. While he does not look to run as a designed runner typically, he is a high-level scrambler that can pick up large chunks of yardage in that aspect consistently. When he does leave the pocket, he keeps his eyes downfield, looking for his targets to emerge. His clean mechanics and base transfers to when he has to throw on the run and off platform. While he has the high-level playmaking ability with his legs, he looks to step up in the pocket first and is willing to take a big hit to get the ball out to his playmakers. In terms of improvement areas, he can hold on to the ball at times, knowing his athleticism can potentially get him out of a murky pocket. Had three interceptions in his two games against top-ten teams in the nation. Despite being an excellent runner, he rarely utilizes his legs currently. Will need to add to his frame for the college level. However, all of these things can be improved upon at the next level. He should remain as one of the top prospects in the nation at the quarterback position for the 2028 recruiting cycle.
