@collegefandave @theblockspot Texas has way more resources and a fertile recruiting ground and yet look at their last 3-4 HCs. Again, Indiana is an awful recruiting ground and yet their coach is great. Think of what he would be in a recruiting paradise like Texas, Florida, or even California

Call me woke or whatever, but I don't think it's even vaguely reasonable to expect the literal mayor of NYC to be prohibited from attending a 9/11 memorial just because a handful of folks affected by it grew up to be malignant racists.

@collegefandave @theblockspot He won a national championship in two years at the worst program in CFB history in a state that has only produced six five-star recruits in the history of star rankings. He’s already great, and now he’s landing top recruits for future classes.

What he did is more of an anomaly. Let’s see how often he can do it. He’s a very good example. Put him at Georgia and he will compete every year most likely. At Indiana he will be good but not great most likely. His breakthrough national championship is not to be discounted though. Amazing accomplishment.

@theblockspot Does the same amount of money come with said coach? That’s the real winner in a lot of these situations. Put a good coach in a great recruiting spot and they thrive. Put a great coach in a bad recruiting spot and they struggle.

Last week, my mom got a "pied-a-terre" tax notice. She has lived full-time in her townhouse FOR 30 YEARS (she and my dad bought it for under $1 million). She has no other residence. Is NYC not bothering with basic checking of its own tax lists? She's 81 and has three weeks to get her name off the list or she owes $56,000. (Yes, I said I'd help.) Thanks, Zohran Kwame.

Finally wrote about roster ages for BSB. Wasn't surprised to find that Indiana ranked 33rd among P4 teams in estimated average age in 2025. What may be most interesting to IU fans is how the age distribution changed from 2025 to 2026 (see chart). (link in comments)

@B1GDuckEnergyy We’ve been to almost every Big Ten stadium to watch IU play, only have USC, Washington, and Wisconsin left. Eugene last season was the best trip by far. No joke, every single Oregon fan said good luck or great win as we passed all of the tailgates. Great people
