@ManRitan This is different. All she does here is part the water enough to create an air bubble big enough for their group. She also needs Aang's help to close & maintain it. In the film, she full-on splits a huge volume of water & maintains it all by herself. Just shows she's stronger now

Honesty i dont know if Katara pulling Moses stunt one of the coolest or absolutely dumbest thing ive ever seen that retcoons old Avatar Because on one hand this is overkill but on the other hand it doesnt contradict old Avatar as Katara pulled simular stunt in Serpent pass ep

Just watched the avatar movie and man i know people are going to be mad about the Aang vs Korra debates because this movie barely did any favors for Aang or team avatar in general.

@koriellethinker She was actually one of the best parts about this movie tbh. Out of all the Gaang, she and Aang feel the most like themselves, and she has some good fight scenes/bending feats.

@jasimisinclair Because whiteness is seen as the standard. If it does poorly, it's because of some non-racial factor. If a POC-led or POC-heavy show does poorly, to them, the detrimental factor was race.

A white book adaption can flop and not be good and the audience can move on from that because they know they have a bunch of other ones coming out. When a black adaptation flops, executives and media hold it over your head.
