If you're into Meshtastic, LoRa, APRS, or anything RF that depends on line of sight, check out heywhatsthat.com. It’s a super useful (and free) tool that shows you what your antenna can see — and what can see you. Click New Panorama, enter your location (or lat/lon), give the point a quick name (it requires a title), and adjust the elevation if you're on a mast, roof, or second floor. Then hit Submit. The red fog shows your actual LOS coverage — everything your antenna can see and be seen by. One of the coolest features: you can save multiple panoramas and then plot the line of sight between them. It’s perfect for checking potential links between nodes, finding relay spots, or verifying if two locations can talk to each other before you even set up gear. It's kind of addictive once you start comparing sites. If you’re building out a mesh or trying to plan for real range, this tool is gold. @hamateur_hour So far it's good. Running a capacity test today. Cold temp protection works great and so does the self heater built into the battery.
