EXPOSED: Hundreds of trucking companies across the U.S. are operating out of empty office spaces and deploying semi-trucks on our highways—despite having no real physical business presence. Frontlines reporter @Savsays discovered an office building where 32 separate trucking companies were registered at the same address, 16 of which remain active with trucks still running on U.S. roads. Yet when our team went inside the building, no sign of any trucking operations whatsoever. One of these companies was linked to a supposed “home healthcare” business that received over $152,000 in forgiven PPP small business loans. The loan, however, was not classified under “home healthcare” but under the completely unrelated category of “home and garden equipment repair and maintenance.” This is just the start of an in-depth investigation into widespread fraud in the trucking industry—including illegal immigrants obtaining CDLs, shell trucking companies running semis on American highways, and foreign nationals exploiting loopholes in the Department of Transportation (DOT) system.
