This is one of the weirdest exchanges I’ve ever seen on TV. @newtgingrich correctly points out that George Soros threw an unprecedented amount of money into DA races all over the country to elect radicals and Fox News basically told him to shut up. WTF?

African American brothers and sisters, I lack appropriate words but I am so sorrowful for the unrelenting losses and griefs you are bearing. The endurance, strength, honesty of lament & unwillingness to surrender joy I continually see in you humbles & teaches me. Jesus, be near.

No greater challenge exists in the human experience than accepting the reality that some things don’t fix. It may well be that, when all is said and done and our life stories are penned to their final paragraph, the thickest part of the plot was what we did with what was broken.

Even the statement, “Let’s invite more Black people to the table,” implies ownership of the table and control of who is invited. Racism is about power.

And remember: if we learned nothing else this week, doing the right thing might very well mean ELEVATING THE BLACK VOICES OF LEADERSHIP instead of spewing white nonsense. So yeah, point to black leadership & maybe just respond: "What he said" or "What she said." #blacklivesmatter

For white folks still sitting silently on the sidelines or tentatively on the fence: envision what it would look like if you rejected every fear and excuse and just did the right thing. Silence is complicity. Do it. Do the right thing. Have some integrity. #blacklivesmatter

I think America should feel an extreme weight of moral shame that the murder of this little girl’s father is what it took for an awakening (and some still remain asleep). Children shouldn’t have to lose their fathers for social change.
