Queer middle-aged guy. I work on radars. Opinions are my own but I'm trying to make them everyone else's problem also. In my spare time I fence and make music

@Starship_20 @Flight2Starship This is objectively true. You and I both know flight 13 will still be suborbital.

Expected explosion btw. But some people who aren’t that bright can’t wrap their head around that.

@Flight2Starship @Starship_20 The next flight is not targeting orbit, babe.
English

@kmh @Starship_20 1 flight away but whatever fits your boat I guess lmao
English

@Starship_20 @Flight2Starship Then don’t? My intention is to show the state of the project as it is.
And it’s a clusterfuck, still several flights away from orbit.
English

@kmh @Flight2Starship To doom on starship. You can try and say that wasn’t your intentions if you want but I personally won’t be buying it
English

@imEden20 @Starship_20 This is the first I’m hearing of this, where are you getting this idea that it would be bad?
The opposite is true - the intact ships could be towed to shore.
English

@kmh @Starship_20 im saying its bad if it doesnt explode but that doesnt discount the whole mission
English

@TimWrede2 @Tenit902 @xdNiBoR @PebMet1 No orbit, no docking test.
Why on earth would you make these assumptions and what are they based on?
English

@Tenit902 @xdNiBoR @kmh @PebMet1 Yesterday moon mission will be in 2028, 2027 is only a Leo docking test and such so like Apollo 9(I think was it) I assume next launch will be in 2 months ish and towards the end of the year we will get 1/months to 1/2weeks next year around this time we probably will see roughly
English

@kmh @Booster_11 They rly need orbit soon but I bet next flight still won’t be bc of how this flight went
English

I wonder if they were testing whether they could stop a roll with only one engine at the end

@Lihizz @NASASpaceflight They already have cameras at all the buoys tho
English

@NASASpaceflight That rotation was surely intentional to get every possible chance of good angle to look at the shield

There's the video!

@vibechaserrr @Booster_11 Ultimately they have bigger first to fry. Still not getting to orbit
English

@kmh @Booster_11 Yeah so Idrk why they did this if they wanted more imagery of all sides just have more cameras out there then you’d be able to test simulated catches which they need two of for a real catch, so idk why they’d do this realistically
English

@kmh Operational cost for full payload deployment in orbit will be around 10mil, considering this wouldn't likely be full payload, and is suborbital? It would cost even less. Even potentially be provided for free in case of disasters.
English

less thrust than the Hail Mary btw
