Do ion engines have no thrust because they're efficient or are ion engines efficient because they have no thrust

Extremely excited to announce our first air-to-air kill of a flying moth by an autonomous micro-drone. This is a big step towards completely eradicating mosquitoes.

@RocketGuyAtla They still do all the permits with the 16. as primary, ship is ready to roll just waiting for the booster to be free for roll out, then double roll out

Im getting a really strong feeling that SpaceX will delay Flight 13 to Friday without a launch attempt on Thursday, mainly because we're only 60 hours away from launch and we still are yet to see rollout notices for S40 and B20, however they could still have time to do that

Currently, these four (along with Falcon 9) are the only reusable rockets in existence. It took only 1.5 years for the number to go from 2 to 5. It will take far less than that to reach 10, 20 and beyond.

Messing around with the recent environmental assessment information published earlier today for ship contingency landing zones. If my extrapolation is near-correct it looks like the first orbital flight will go into a ~48.7º profile, only two orbits and it's down in just about three hours

@VibeChaserrr The first Starship flight was going to be B4 and S20 but they opted for B7 and S24 instead, so it was a bit of a bummer. The first launch attempt on 4/17 got scrubbed, so Starship's first flight ended up launching on 4/20!

I think for the boostback they will use all 33 for ~20-30 seconds then transition to 13 and then down to 5 or 3 for the last few seconds as they did in previous versions.

@Booster_11 They definitely could yeah their propulsion is definitely strong enough to hold station around starship until relight

@TimWrede2 Yeah I guess I’m jus referring to the imaging satellites as dodger dogs since they have the same purpose

Theoretically, if the dodger dogs stay close enough to the ship on flight 13, could they capture the raptor relight kinda like Apollo 9?
