And when I ask "Why is Ilhan Omar still honored when it has been proven that she bore children through incest?" That same man will tell me that is not true. There were things that man said about his culture that were great: "It takes a village to raise a child; and both family and community share resources to help any member in a jam. In the same breath, he also told me they can't even control the radical nutcases who are determined to kill a fellow Muslim along side an infidel. Members of Islam can't even predict who will become radical! So this is a case in which Islam is safe to nobody and the good among them must learn to face that exact truth--just as the good among us need to break out of their spell. None of us did We were young. I have been out of it for over 10 years now with the deepest regrets of contributing to this process at a high level.
